We have the complete 2008 schedule for cruise ship visits to Bar Harbor! Last year there were about 85 such visits, and this year we are expecting over 100 - a record! The first ship dropped anchor on May 11. The last one will be here on October 29. Most of them have been to Bar Harbor before, but at least three - "Caribbean Princess", "Eurodam", and "AIDAura" - will be making Maiden Voyages to our area. Also, the famous "Queen Mary 2" was back on July 5 for her only visit of 2008, and the classic "Queen Elizabeth 2" will make her farewell visit on September 19 before completion of her sale at the end of the year to Dubai for use as a floating hotel. Check back here regularly, because we will provide a complete list on this page of all ship visits about two weeks in advance so that you can make plans to see any particular ship in which you might be especially interested. Photos of some of them probably will appear on this website from time to time!
